One thing I forgot to ask was if we are breaking up the main 100 minutes sessions. Obvious a 10 minute changover starts eating into things but should we aim for a 5 minute split at the 50min mark? Thoughts from people? It is basically a tradeoff between allowing people to shuffle and filling the space. On the other hand a 5 minute gaps allows a bit of slack in tight-timetables (I pled guility here). For Multimedia and Music I tend to schedule 25/50 minute slots with the understanding that the final 5 minutes are for questions. This way I figure if people need to move around then they are free to leave during the question times. This has worked well for us in the past. However, if there is a consensus that we make the break at 50 minutes a formal break then I'm happy to do that. Simon: my emails to lca2016 lists tend to fail due to reasons which are still being investigated. If this reply doesn't make it to the list feel free to push it out on my behalf.
